Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5246, an H-9S (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in Juniata as number "3491" in August of 1913, renumbered "6238" in 1915, renumbered "5246" in 1917, and retired in January of 1950 after 37 years of faithful service. |
