Album Info:I took my grandson for a caboose ride on the BR&W. It's billed as a "Caboose Hop"; ride the entire length of the railroad in a caboose pulled by steam. Unfortunately steam locomotive #60 developed a pinhole leak in it's smokebox-mounted superheater on the last regular excursion run of the day, so the BR&W substituted Lehigh Valley switch engine #112 as the road power for the hop. Didn't matter to my grandson - he loved riding in the caboose so the day was still accounted a great success.
