Title:
PRR 7195, EFS-17M, 1965
Description:
8th Street. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 14 February 1965. Shown here (L to R) are PRR engines #7195, #7135, and #2308. All were built by EMD. #7195 and #7135 are EFS-17M's built in 1957 and rated at 1,750 horsepower each. #2308 is an EF-25 built in 1964 and rated at 2,500 horsepower. They are about to pass under the 8th Street Bridge with a 50-car autorack train destined for Enola and points East with caboose #477633.
