The Georgia, Florida & Alabama was known as the Sumatra Leaf Route, but colloquially as the "Gopher, Frog & Alligator" line. The loco was absorbed into the Seaboard Air Line as SAL #526. The final dispostion is unknown. Specs - 56" drivers, 190 psi boiler pressure, 24x28" cylinders, engine wt of 212,000 lb and tractive effort of 46,512 lb. |
