Description:  A yellow GATX unit-we called them "gators" leads a blue sister and an ex KCS unit still in white on CP train 270. CP would later acquire the yellow ex MP GATX units, numbering them 5422-5431. A few even got repainted.

Gator and a semaphore.
Title:  Gator and a semaphore.
Description:  The semaphore at 247-2 was easy to access, as it was close to the road, and there was a driveway to the MOW road, which was the old LV line. On a nice day it was a great shot with the blade against the blue sky. Heres 261X with 45 TOFC behind a GATX lease unit rolling west past the signal.

Description:  A southbound with one yellow and two blue GATX lease units crosses CR at BD and heads for CPs yard with 81 cars. My notes say this is a 261, but that cant be right. Im thinking its 554, which would be correct for the time of day, but ut usually didnt get lease power. Ah, aging brain cells.
