MP U30C's were VERY uncommon in New Orleans, so it was really special to find the 11 as the trailing unit on a transfer run from the MoP's Race Street Yard to Avondale Yard. The train is on the New Orleans Public Belt at Oak Street, and the two tracks in the foreground were the former KCS-NOPB interchange. This GE was built as the 970, and was subsequently the 11, 3310, and 2975. |
