Specially equipped coal gondola Southern Railway #900096 has topped off 2716's tender and the operator is retracting the loading boom          
2716 will ease forward a few feet to clear the wye switch and begin the process of backing around the Opelika Wye. After turning the power the crew will rejoin the train's consist, wyed during the coaling operation, and sitting directly behind the tender on the main track. 2716 will make an early evening arrival back at Birmingham's Terminal Station
