| Sometimes you think youre going to get a lot of railroad, but things dont quite work out that way. I was visiting family in Georgia, and had a couple of days while my wife and some of the gals went to Pigeon Forge, so I thought Id get up on the e Southern Rathole to check out the action. I got to Dayton Tenn, and saw that getting through town was going to be a challenge. And there was a southbound waiting to move after getting a signal. I chased to the next town, Bakewell, and to him passing the signal there. Id spend the day between here and Dayton. Saw 7 trains. The skies were gray all day, which sucked-I HATE when I go somewhere I never get to go, and the weather sucks, especially after the prediction was for 70 and sun. But, a bad day train watching..... |
