This sharp looking 4-6-2 "Pacific" type steam locomotive was built by the Canadian Locomotive Compnay in October of 1944. The loco served until retirement and scrapping in June of 1960. Original specs - Ga class, 200 psi boiler pressure, 25x30" cylinders, 75" drivers, engine weight of 299,000 lb and tractive effort of 42,500 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo. |
