Here is the 12th of 18 photos by Fred McLeod that are included in a souvenir brochure entitled "Horseshoe Curve; Pennsylvania Railroad; Altoona, Pa." Photo Caption: "Upgrade and Downgrade." At the left, an unidentified "J" Class (2-10-4) "Texas" is pulling a mixed-cargo freight train around the Curve and up the Allegheny Mountains to Gallitzin and points West. At the right, an unidentified "I" Class (2-10-0) "Decapod" is serving as a tail-end brake for a fully-loaded mineral train on its way down "The Mountain" to the Eastbound Receiving Yard in Altoona.
