ATSF 3627
PURCELL OK September 1977 -- Santa Fe GP39-2 3627 awaits a crew so this southbound train can continue its journey. EMD built the 3627 (s/n 74664-11) in February 1975 and delivered it in yellow warbonnet. After a time renumbered SPSF 3127 but not repainted. In January 1987 The Cleburne TX shops rebuilt it as a GP39-2u and renumbered it 3410. After the BNSF merger it was patched and renumbered 2779.
