CSX 2756, engineer's side  Contributor's Pick!
CSX GP38-2 2756, still in the blue-grey-yellow scheme, assists 2759 with a relatively short eastbound freight. I don't know the heritage of this unit but it doesn't have the slotted battery box covers which a lot of Chessie/CSX power used to have. Notice, also, the yellow handrail on the short hood. The American flag on the cab side is a patriotic touch--thank you, CSX! Huntington, WV: 8-06-2012.

TERRENCE ROBLE General Both 2756 and 2759 are both former PC/CR engines. Both still have their class lights still in place, good catch! 8/14/2012 12:47:02 AM
