| A story: a long while ago I was told by someone that this glass art work was painted over during WWII because of the blackout meaures. It was forgotten after the war and not "rediscovered" until Amtrak was "sprucing" up the station. When the found that they had something, they had it all removed, cleaned and reinstalled. They did something right..... |
