Well, I can tell you that the eastbound empties don't smell as bad as the westbound loads; empty trash train 64J heads back to Newark, NJ, for more...umm...'stuff we have no more room for in Jersey'....

We used to have a recycle energy plant in Akron that would burn the trash and convert it to steam heat for all the buildings downtown. After a number of explosions due to haz mat containers being snuck into the trash, the plant no longer accepts trash. Shame, it got rid of trash and produced energy.
