These 2 FP7A's were leased to the New Georgia Railroad for excursions. This 35mm film scan shows 3598 & 3599 battling the grade in 95 degree heat on the Stone Mountain Park Loop! Do I miss those days!

Ron Moraca General Excellent photo, Gary! That kind of heat's hard to take here in Hamilton, MT, where we have a dry heat. I was stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, MS, so I well know what temps that high in wet heat feel like. I don't suppose those enclosed passenger cars had working A/C, either. 12/1/2008 12:24:32 AM
