Here is another Forrest Trittenbach photo of an early C&O "Atlantic" type locomotive. Built by Alco Richmond in 1905, it was an A-16 class and rebuilt sometime in the 1920's. It had high-stepping 73" drivers and developed 200 psi boiler pressure. |
