| CN 9486 rests on the yard lead in front of the depot/yard office (out-of-frame to left) at the CN, former C&NW, yard at Appleton Junction, WI on 4 Jul. '18. It is unusual to see a string of cars coupled to the locomotive here between shifts. The well-maintained track that runs from left to right through the center of the photograph is the nPrth leg of the wye. The nearly buried track closer to me is a spur occasionally used for MoW equipment. |
