TRB. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Fred Kern that was taken at the Rockville Bridge near Marysville, Pennsylvania, in October of 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6824, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during September of 1926 and retired in September of 1952 after 26 years of faithful service. It's crossing the Bridge with a five-car freight train on its way to the Enola Yards. |
