"New York Division," Page 17, 1942         
Here is page ten of an 18-page article by W.R. Osborne entitled "Greatest Show On Earth: New York Division, P.R.R." It was published originally in the January 1942 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 17. Partial Caption: "Engine 4726 is of the P-5a classification, and in this photo is rolling a scheduled fast freight westward near Colonia, N.J., 12.9 miles west of Newark on the busiest part of the New York Division." Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4726 is a P-5A (2-C-2) built by Baldwin-Westinghouse during December of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in May of 1963 after 31 years of faithful service.
