| J760 is working industries on the TVA Branch at Gallatin. This line splits off the old Hartsville branch about a mile from here and at one time was used to deliver unit coal trains to TVA's Gallatin Steam Plant. Alas, Gallatin city leaders complained about busy city streets being blocked. TVA has received the coal by barge since 1996 and the line is out of service past the crossing in the background. |
