P30CH 719 and SDP40F 619 were backing into New Orleans Union Passenger Terminal on the Saturday before Mardi Gras with the first section of the PANAMA LIMITED. The train consisted of steam generator car 1921 and 13 other cars. The 719 and 1921 were almost brand new, but the 619 was a year and a half old. |
