Burkey. Here is an original photo of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #153, a Class R (2-8-0) "Consolidated" built in the Altoona Machine Shops during January of 1891, later reclassified as an H-3, and retired in October of 1912 after 21 years of faithful service. The names of the photographer and of the Yard Crew, as well as the exact date and the location, are not recorded. (#1 of 25) |
