This locomotive was the world’s second GP38. It was built in January 1966 as Detroit, Toledo & Ironton 201, and was subsequently Grand Trunk Western 6201, then GTW 4995, Rail Trusts Equipment (RTEX) 4995 in 2008 and then Lancaster & Chester 3820. It went to the Mississippi Export in 2018 and was subsequently upgraded into MSE GP38-2 70 by Knoxville Locomotive Works. |
