| This is a older b&w photo of a 4-4-0 American style steam locomotive built in 1886 for the Chicago, Milwaukee & St Paul Railroad. Unfortunately, finding which of the various builders that constructed the H6 class has been unsuccessful so far. One online source lists Cooke as the builder but so far I haven't found the proof that they did. WWW.steam locoomotives.com did supply the basic specs however - class H6, 70" drivers, modest 150 psi boiler pressure, 18x24" cylinders, modest engine weight of 100,100 lb, modest tractive effort of 14,163 lb.
