This Atlantic Coast Line 2-10-2 locomotive #2006 is an excellent example of a Baldwin built USRA "Santa Fe-Heavy" locomotive. It was built in October of 1025 and served successively as a heavy hauler for the ACL. Unfortunately as diesels entered the roster, this loco and the entire Q-1 class disappeared. #2006 met the scrapper's torch in December of 1952 at the Waycross Georgia Yard. Specs - serial #58731, Q-1 class, 63" drivers, 210 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine wt of 391,980 lb impressive tractive effort of 81,600 lb.
