Train display in Humbermouth
Baldwin Pacific 4-6-2, CN#593(nee-Nfld rr#193) was built in Philly in 1921. She operated until 1959, where she retired as a shunter in P.A.B. She survived the cutter's torch and was placed on display at a campground, 17 miles west of here. The Rotary club of Corner Brook, who were the owners, donated the loco to The Railway Society of Nfld. in 1987 where she was shipped up here. A bigger dream than seeing a railway on the island again, would be to see this single survivor breathe steam once more.
