"Fastest Steam Locomotive," Page 31, 1957         
Here is page two of a six-page article by Freeman Hubbard entitled "The World's Fastest Steam Locomotive." It was published originally in the August 1957 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 31. Shown here is a partial view of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #7002, an E-7SA (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata as E-2A number "8063" during September of 1902, rebuilt as an E-7SA in October of 1918, withdrawn from service in August of 1939, renumbered "7002" in June of 1949, and presently on display at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg.
