"Gritty Palace" Executive Car
Built by Pullman in 1912 as Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific executive car #1902 named "Choctaw", it was later renumbered CRIP #98. When financial troubles hit Rock Island, it was sold in February of 1968 to Art & Judy Pew and partner Warren Nugent. It was used for family vacations. Upon the deaths of Art and Judy Pew, the Pew family donated the car to the Minnesota Transportation Museum in 2022.
