BO 2-10-2 #6223 - Baltimore & Ohio         
Caught by an unknown photographer as it stood still in an unidentified locaiton, this massive and long 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive was built by Baldwin in May of 1926 as B&O #6223. The loco served for nearly 29 years before being retired and scrapped in 1955. Original specs - 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 30x32" cylinders, engine wt of 436,510 lb and tractive effort of 84,300 lb. No date, locatikon or photographer was listed for this photo so approximates were used.
