Description:
Here is page 35 of a 78-page booklet published by Harry P. Albrecht entitled "Those Amazing Class 'D' Locomotives." It was issued originally in June of 1981. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #700, a D-13A (4-4-0) "American" built in the Altoona Machine Shops during April of 1893, sold to the West Jersey & Seashore Railroad and renumbered "25" in April of 1899, renumbered PRR "6025" in 1903, and sold to Hausman & Wimmer in April of 1923 after 30 years of faithful service.
