Fairly nice photo of Baldwin built 2-8-2 #430. Originally built in May of 1923, it carried the number CMStP #8330 until renumbered in June of 1938 to MILW 430. The loco served for 30 years before the scrapper's torch took it down in February of 1953. Specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 26x30" cylinders, engine wt of 292,770 lb, tractive effort of 54,723 lb. No date, location or photographer was listed for the photo |
